A skilled Forklift Operator is required to join a busy warehouse operation on the Naas Road. This role involves operating both counterbalance and reach truck forklifts, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within the facility. The position is suited to a reliable and experienced forklift driver who can work in a fast-paced logistics environment while maintaining high safety standards.
The warehouse handles a variety of stock, requiring careful handling and adherence to operational procedures. You will play a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring goods are stored, picked, and loaded efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Operate counterbalance and reach truck forklifts to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily safety checks and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and general warehouse duties.
- Ensure goods are stored correctly and safely, following company guidelines.
- Support order picking and packing as needed.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily operational targets.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure workplace.
Requirements:
- Valid counterbalance and reach truck forklift licence.
- Up to date manual handling certificate
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
- Flexibility to perform additional warehouse tasks as required.
