Are you an experienced automation professional ready to work on cutting-edge manufacturing projects? We're looking for an Automation Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting the operational phase of a major DeltaV DCS installation and other large-scale capital projects.

What You'll Do

As an Automation Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring automation systems are designed, implemented, and maintained to the highest standards. You will:

  • Maintain validated DeltaV DCS automation systems.
  • Design and develop automation applications and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and production support processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise automation solutions.
  • Oversee the smooth transition of systems from project to operational use.
  • Report on project delivery, costs, and resource planning.
  • Ability to programme DeltaV.
  • Pharma experience is a MUST.
What You'll Bring
  • A degree in Automation, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep technical expertise in DeltaV DCS systems.
  • Experience with:
    • Data historian and reporting systems
    • S88 batch processing
    • Facility commissioning and startup
    • Familiarity with GMP environments and regulatory inspections
    • Excellent project execution and documentation review skills
