Our Client is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to support business growth. The role will be based on a prominent client sites in the Cork/Limerick areas. The successful candidate will provide support to the existing site team and report to company directors.

The Role/Responsibilities;

  • Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any specialist subcontractors.
  • To plan, develop and organize the construction project and to formulate the most cost-effective method to timely completion within budget.
  • Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
  • Close contact with site personnel ensuring that all access, information and materials are available to ensure productive weeks work.
  • Scope of Work in accordance with the approved Project Schedule.
  • Monitor and report to site management team any project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented.
  • Monitor construction and schedule performance.
  • Adhere to Weltec Safety, EHS and Quality Standards in line with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Management of Site Design and Construction processes.
  • Planning of all resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors.
  • To manage and drive the team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines.
  • Liaising with Quality Assurance and Safety on Site.
  • Communicate clearly to all stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate must have;

  • Good knowledge of design and construction process.
  • Proven ability to manage people and programs.
  • A trade background or a third level qualification.
  • Proven record of co-ordinating and managing on large projects in a similar role.
  • A minimum of 7+ years as a Construction Manager.
  • Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package).
