Marketing And Advertising Manager | Online Marketing Expert

Prolift Handling Ltd is the largest distributor and service provider of lifting, material handling and height safety equipment in Ireland. We distribute products such as rigging equipment, height safety equipment, electrical hoists, gantry cranes and material handling equipment whilst also specialising in clean room and ATEX-rated lifting equipment.

At Prolift we possess the largest service division in Ireland with 15 service engineers working nationwide carrying out thorough examinations, testing, installations and repairs on all types of lifting equipment.

The main duties of the service engineer will include below:

· Carrying out load tests, visual inspections, installations, repairs and overhauls of lifting, material handling and height safety equipment. Training will be provided.

· Working on the service team you will be responsible for checking service calendar and contacting customers directly to organise jobs assigned to you by our service manager.

· Liaising with our service co-ordinator for work booked in.

· Our engineers use PDA's (handheld digital devices) when carrying out inspections on assets so

· Filling out time sheets via Inspected system at the end of each day.

Position Requirements

Suitable candidates for this position will:

· Have experience working on a service team

· Experience in industry would be an advantage but not essential if quick learner.

· An electric background is essential and a mechanical background would also be an advantage

· Excellent communication skills coupled with effective planning and organisational skills along with the ability to work on own initiative.

· Proficient in IT including google calendars for service engineers and experience in Quickbooks software would be an advantage but not essential.
