Overview

Senior Occupational Therapist - Mental Health

Location: South Dublin | Job type: Full Time Permanent

TTM Healthcare Solutions are recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist for one of Ireland's leading healthcare organisations based in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. This organisation is a national centre of innovation in public mental health service provision, delivering a community-based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin. The role is based in the Crisis Response Service and offers the opportunity to influence the direction of occupational therapy provision as the service develops nationally.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialised occupational therapy services within the Crisis Response Service as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate to advance the occupational therapy ethos within mental health services and support the department's development and future service roll-out.
  • Provide supervision and support to junior staff and contribute to service planning and quality improvement.
  • Engage with service users to assess needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress in collaboration with the wider team.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • CORU registration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Clinical experience working with adults with mental health challenges in a community setting
  • Experience in supporting people in acute psychological distress is advantageous
  • Full driving licence and use of a car
