Overview

Barden have partnered with a multinational organisation who are looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer. We are excited to bring this new 12-month daily rate contract role to the market. It is a critical role for the business and ideally you will have at least 6+ years commercial experience in Data Engineering. This role would suit someone with a strong business acumen and stakeholder management experience. This is a hybrid role with 1 to 2 days required in the Cork office per month.

Technical Requirements
  • Strong experience (at least 6 years) working with Python, SQL and Tableau
  • Previous data migration projects experience and comfortable designing and managing data flows and developing data pipelines
  • Good understanding and appreciation for Data Architecture
  • Very good experience working with Azure-based platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
Responsibilities
  • Work on data engineering initiatives within a multinational environment
  • Design and manage data pipelines and data flows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of commercial data engineering experience
  • Strong business acumen and stakeholder management experience
