Description of the role:

The Chief Respiratory Physiologist is an essential member of the Respiratory Medicine Team and will oversee the effective running of a high quality diagnostic service in the Respiratory and Sleep Laboratory. The successful candidate will have a key role in our expanding Respiratory and Sleep laboratory.

Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Pulmonary Laboratory.
  • Be responsible for the other technical staff and their clinical workload in the Pulmonary Laboratory.
Requirements:
  • Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by The Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP).
  • A minimum of 5 years full time (or an aggregate of 5 years fulltime) relevant post qualification experience.
  • Candidates must have the requisite clinical, leadership, managerial and administrative knowledge and ability to properly discharge the functions of the role.
  • Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the Physiology specialty as relevant to the role.
  • A flexible approach to working hours is required for this post.
Salary:

€60,499 – €83,009 (dependant on years experience) *
