Overview

St. Michaels House is growing and recruiting Staff Nurses to join our team across various services in the greater Dublin area. We offer a supportive, values-driven environment with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care and support to individuals with disabilities in Day Services (Monday–Friday) and across various services.
  • Participate in the management of complex health needs and implement positive behaviour support where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred, rights-based support.
Minimum Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Up to 3 months' experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Understanding of Health Act 2007, HIQA standards, and Interim New Directions.
  • Commitment to person-centred, rights-based support and to building respectful, collaborative relationships.
  • Desirable: experience in management of complex health needs and positive behaviour support.

Salary Scale

Successful candidates will be paid in line with the HSE Revised Consolidated August 2025 Salary Scale, based on 35 hours per week for Day Services and pro-rata for Relief Panel shifts.
