SMB Account Executive - German Speaker role at Salesforce. This position focuses on engaging with existing customers and new leads to sell the Salesforce Customer 360 platform, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.
Responsibilities- Lead a dedicated customer set in the SMB space, owning the full sales cycle and coordinating multiple sales projects concurrently.
- Own the entire sales process to achieve key performance metrics, with emphasis on new business while growing existing accounts.
- Apply solution selling to respond to customer needs and identify business potential to create long-term partnerships.
- Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings.
- Prioritize and lead industry events and user groups to generate market interest.
- Collaborate with Business Developers, Pre-sales, and Marketers for all sales leads and opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in quota-carrying, technology solution-based direct sales experience.
- Territory & Account Planning: create territory and account plans to achieve sales objectives by identifying and qualifying prospects.
- Research and Discovery: uncover a prospect's processes, challenges, and goals based on use cases and value hypotheses.
- Solutioning: identify compelling value propositions addressing customer needs with an understanding of technology solutions.
- Customer Communication: clear, concise, timely interactions using various methods and tools (writing, speech, presentations).
- Resource Application: leverage available resources and tools to drive results.
- Team Selling: collaborate with the account team and partners to support the deal and customer success.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sales Methodology education.
- Ability to develop cases and service requirements while crafting strategic alliances.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of consistently achieving or surpassing quota.
- Experience evaluated for alignment to core role competencies (e.g., leadership, military, volunteer work).
