Excel Recruitment are seeking a talented Group Manager for a leading hospitality group in Cork known for its vibrant bars & restaurants and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar hospitality management role, with a strong in-depth knowledge of Bar and Restaurant operations.

Reporting to the directors, the Group Manager will oversee the operations of multiple locations, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and profitability.

Requirements of the Group Manager
  • Proven experience as a Bar and Restaurant Manager or in a similar hospitality management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Bar and Restaurant operations.
  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and P&L management.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities of the Group Manager
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all locations and with the Venue Managers provide strategic direction and leadership to foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and managing vendor relationships.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for each bar location.
  • Analyse financial performance and identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Develop and execute promotional strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
