We invite you to join us as a Senior Software Engineer at our Limerick, Ireland office.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain our payments platform infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robustness, scalability, and security. A strong understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure and/or AWS is essential.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain secure software build and delivery pipelines.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Pulumi, Ansible, or similar.
  • Develop and maintain DevSecOps tools to ensure security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed security practices into the software lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to improve our platform continually.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with templating tools like Carvel, Jinja, Helm.
  • Golang experience is a plus; strong Java or Python skills with ability to learn Golang quickly are acceptable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
