ManpowerGroup are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to work with our client SAP. This is a 10-month contract position where you will be employed by ManpowerGroup and work on assignment with SAP at the Dublin office. The role is onsite.

What you'll do:

  1. Lead and develop the local facilities team and oversee outsourced building service contracts.
  2. Manage all building service contacts effectively, ensuring facilities service levels are in line with GRF expectations and reporting on their effectiveness.
  3. Maintain local facilities service levels, fulfilling company's Health and Safety obligations and providing reports to directors.
  4. Represent facility operations at management level in Ireland, informing local directors on facility-related projects and ensuring business requirements are met.
  5. Collaborate with global and local sustainability teams to implement sustainable practices and drive approved schemes.
  6. Negotiate facility service contracts with Global Purchasing colleagues and monitor, audit, report on the performance of existing contracts, aligning to Group purchasing policy.
  7. Work with Global Physical Security colleagues to maintain security standards.
  8. Lead the development of capital (CAPEX) and operating (OPEX) budgets, report on these budgets and drive improvements.
  9. Participate in the local crisis management team.

What you bring:

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience of managing building services.
  2. Comprehensive understanding of Facilities budgeting, procedures, and reporting.
  3. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to meet deadlines and embrace new challenges.
  4. Knowledge of commercial contracts management and procurement (desirable).
  5. Proven experience in leading people and managing projects.
  6. Ability to lead a team in a cross-functional environment.
  7. Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
  8. Proficiency in handling multiple, high-priority jobs simultaneously.
  9. Resilience, quick-thinking and adaptability to changes.
  10. Ability to solve problems proactively and make sound decisions in a constantly changing environment.
  11. Excellent grasp of SAP and MS Office applications.

Meet your team: As the SAP Facilities Manager in Ireland, you will be responsible for ensuring the Facilities and Real Estate Management of all our operations across the country adhere to SAP Global standards. Your role will play a crucial part in partnering with business units based in Ireland. With over 2,400 colleagues spread across four offices in Dublin and Galway, you will lead and collaborate with an engaged and diverse team, ensuring that our service delivery is of the highest quality. You will be reporting to the Real Estate and Facilities head for the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries, playing your part in our global operations.

This position is entirely office based to support the needs of the business.
