My client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Global Supply Chain Technical Process Writer. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for supply chain processes on a global scale. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain operations, GxP principles, and excellent writing skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear, concise, and user-friendly documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and maintain detailed documentation for global supply chain processes, including SOPs, work instructions, process maps, and training materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain managers, process owners, and subject matter experts, to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation
  • Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
  • Review and update existing documentation to reflect changes in processes, systems, and regulations
  • Create visual aids such as flowcharts and diagrams to enhance clarity and usability
  • Manage document control processes, including version control, approvals, and distribution
  • Conduct regular audits of supply chain documentation to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Provide training and support to supply chain staff on the use and interpretation of documentation
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and documentation

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Technical Writing, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, process documentation, or technical writing
  • Strong knowledge of global supply chain processes and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with documentation tools and software such as Microsoft Office, Visio, and document management systems
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is an advantage
