Job Description:

Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity available within our Deal Advisory department. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a high degree of commercial awareness and attention to detail. This role offers the opportunity to become a key part of a rapidly growing area of the business, with attractive career development and progression prospects. The Deal Advisory department at Grant Thornton is a market leader, experienced in mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory, valuations, capital raising, and business planning.

The role includes:

  • Conducting detailed financial reviews and due diligence investigations;
  • Preparing business plans;
  • Assisting with sale and purchase mandates, MBO and MBI assignments;
  • Preparing valuation reports;
  • Assisting with debt and equity raisings;
  • Transactional services experience is advantageous;
  • Liaising with clients, financial institutions, and solicitors;
  • Preparing presentations and marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be ACA / ACCA / CFA qualified or equivalent;
  • Have previous experience in corporate finance or audit;
  • Possess excellent communication skills;
  • Have industry experience with an interest in a professional services environment.
