Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solicitor with 5 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) to join their Medical Negligence and Claims team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing expert legal advice, and representing clients in complex medical negligence cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Handle a varied caseload of medical negligence claims from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and effective management of each case.
  • Client Representation: Represent clients in court, tribunals, and mediation, providing robust advocacy and support.
  • Legal Advice: Provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice to clients on all aspects of medical negligence and claims.
  • Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
  • Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the Medical Negligence and Claims team, as well as other departments within the firm.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate in Ireland.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years PQE in medical negligence and claims.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research and use of legal databases.
