Senior/Associate Planner - Town Planning | Ireland (Dublin or Cork)

My client an international multi-disciplinary consultancy and is seeking a Senior/Associate Planner to join their expanding team in Ireland. This firm offers comprehensive planning advice across diverse land uses including urban regeneration, strategic residential, commercial, logistics, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career, as the planning team is still only small but is actively growing. With their current expansion plans and a flat team structure, there's real potential to take on responsibility quickly and progress into a more senior role without the usual corporate barriers.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality planning projects across multiple sectors.
  • Provide expert planning advice to public and private clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders nationwide.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development.
  • Oversee planning applications, appeals, feasibility studies, and environmental assessments.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience ideally with IPI or RTPI accreditation.
  • Proven expertise in delivering/managing planning projects in Ireland.
  • Strong commercial awareness and client engagement skills.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and project management abilities.
  • Interest in growing new business opportunities, particularly in infrastructure and renewable energy.
