Cavan Vet Group - Breifne Animal Care is a veterinary clinic located at the Corlurgan Business Park in Cavan and is a proud member of the VetPartners Family. Cavan Vet Group offers high-quality services to pet owners and farmers of the local community from our state-of-the-art small animal clinic and farm animal practice at Corlurgan, as well as our farm shops/veterinary offices in Belturbet & Killeshandra towns.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an experienced Large Animal/Mixed Veterinary Surgeon at Cavan Vet Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing veterinary care, conducting examinations, surgeries, and treatments for animals in need. The role involves working closely with an experienced team to ensure the well-being of all animals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in diagnosing and treating small animals and farm animals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Experience in AHI programs is desirable

Additional Role Details

  • Salary: Commensurate with experience
  • Rota: 1:4 weekends, with some OOH
  • Work distribution: 70% Large Animal, 30% Small Animal
