Job Description

Turner & Townsend is a leading consultancy to the infrastructure sectors. We are currently recruiting for a Risk Management Assistant in our Ireland Infrastructure team to undertake duties on high profile infrastructure projects for several rail, highways and public utility clients. The role will combine formal learning and development with practical experience to develop the skills required to progress your career. We are recruiting for Dublin.

Main Purpose Of Role

To support the implementation of an integrated risk management process across major capital programmes or projects.

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, design and implementation of risk management processes tailored to client needs and aligned with industry best practice.
  • Articulate the benefits of risk management.
  • Support risk (threats and opportunities) activities to actively manage risk and seek efficiencies across client projects and programmes.
  • Facilitate risk workshops with clients and project teams.
  • Produce risk reports to communicate threat and opportunity status.
  • Track mitigation actions across projects and programmes.
  • Support risk specialists and broader roles to influence stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Assist in quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g., risk management, engineering, project management).
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and a commitment to finding new and more effective ways of working.
  • Broad understanding of Project Controls methodology and risk management interactions.
  • Working understanding of an integrated risk management process (risk, cost and schedule) across portfolios, programmes and projects.
  • Strong technical project management skills.
