ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Business Development Specialist (Office Furniture and Interiors), you will play an integral role in helping us to continue to grow the category and contribute to our overall sales strategy and vision. Acting as the primary contact for all category-related opportunities, you will leverage your product expertise and industry knowledge to create and deliver customized solutions that align with customer needs and help to drive the success and growth of our sales team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Act as Furniture Product Specialist for the Furniture & Interiors category servicing corporate clients in the Irish market for commercial and government customers.
- Provide product specification support to the sales team, supporting on any leads or sales to support sales growth for your category.
- Design support for any project leads which require additional design support service.
- Provide customers with detailed, quotations and design plans (if relevant) to illustrate proposed solutions and product proposals.
- Project Manage and coordinate furniture fit-out projects efficiently, coordinating until signoff or resolution of snags between client and installation teams.
- Identify and target potential clients in the corporate, and government sectors. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Maintain ownership and a comprehensive knowledge of your sales target and key accounts.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- At least 4+ years in a similar role with the ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of your designated category across the Irish market.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of furniture category products and providing product specifications for customers.
- Demonstrable previous success in new business development. Proven ability to develop and implement a sales strategy, successful in building revenue streams and refine and execute appropriate business development plans to maximise sales and profitability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment, be target driven and results oriented and a track record of achieving sales targets and delivering growth.
- Self–managing and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent business and financial acumen with demonstrated competence in managing department budgets.
- Exceptional communication (verbal and written), collaboration and influencing skills. Proven capability of building strong and effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills.
