We now have an exciting opportunity for a Cafe Prep Chef to join our team and contribute to the success of Killashee Hotel.

This position involves preparing high-quality food items for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea service, including deli sandwiches, staff meals, and cafe specials.

• Previous experience in a cafe, deli, or prep kitchen is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to multitask across different meal preparations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches for afternoon tea and deli lunches
• Support breakfast preparation, ensuring freshness and presentation
• Assist in preparing menu items following recipes and quality standards
• Prepare and portion staff meals as required
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in line with safety standards
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate needs
• Ensure timely and efficient food preparation
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties
