  • Facilitate community engagement by supporting people to build friendships, access activities, and develop natural support networks.
  • Innovate & problem-solve by exploring assistive technology and creative solutions to enhance independence.
  • Collaborate with families & local services to create sustainable, person-cantered support plans.
  • Lead by example in promoting dignity, choice, and active citizenship for the people we support.

Essential Requirements:
  • Qualification: Degree in Social Care or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2+ years in disability/social care (open to relevant transferable skills).
  • Driver's License: Full clean license (required for community-based support).

Nice-to-Have (But Not Essential):
  • Experience with autism, intellectual disability, or acquired brain injury.
  • Training in Low Arousal Approaches, Positive Behaviour Support, or Person-Cantered Planning.
  • Passion for community development, advocacy, or assistive technology.
