Nord Anglia International School, Dublin is looking to recruit a Teacher with Secondary Maths Teaching experience, to drive excellent teaching and learning in the subject of Mathematics.
Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a Mathematics Teacher to join our Early Years / Primary / Secondary team. The Role
- Drive excellent teaching and learning by delivering engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons to MYP students, fostering critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and real-world application of mathematical concepts.
- Engage and interact as the school ambassador to the community through participation in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and community outreach programs that promote mathematical literacy and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary units of inquiry, integrating Mathematics into broader educational contexts.
- Utilize a range of assessment tools to track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support differentiated learning.
- Incorporate technology and innovative resources into Mathematics lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- A recognized teaching qualification and experience teaching Mathematics at MYP and DP levels.
- A deep understanding of the IB curriculum and philosophy, with a passion for Mathematics education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in developing and delivering creative, student-centred learning experiences that align with IB goals and standards.
- Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment as well as meet visa-related restrictions for Ireland.
