O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a Construction Planner for our client, a main contractor with various ongoing projects throughout Ireland. The Planner will join their team based in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a reliable and responsive planning service for the project.
  • Manage the preparation of schedules for all phases of a project across multiple disciplines
  • Responsible for ensuring that schedule updates from the various area schedulers are carried out, and that these inputs are cross checked and consistent with one another to support the overall Program.
  • Ensures that all quality checks are carried out on the Schedule before submitting it externally to the Client.
  • Monitor progress against schedules, analyse deviations and recommend remedial actions.
  • Co-ordinate a progress measurement system.
  • Manage the preparation of and make presentations to project teams and client on schedule control and procedures use.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant Third Level Qualification and Previous experience as a Planner.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Primavera.
  • Recognised Construction Related Qualification.
  • Experience working with a main contractor on large scale projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use time productively, maximise efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
  • Possess ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
