IT Infrastructure Manager - Ireland, Dublin - 12 Month Contract

Overview

IT Infrastructure Manager - Ireland, Dublin - 12 Month Contract. Do you want to be involved with exciting pharmaceutical projects? When it comes to the development and production of veterinary vaccines, our pharmaceutical client has the largest centre in the industry worldwide and is a Centre of Excellence; employing more than 1000 people. They are looking to add to their team and require a IT Infrastructure Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate IT infrastructure projects for the IVP project and QO Lab project.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, schedule, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the project team, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and changes within the projects.
  • Budget management, including creating and monitoring project budgets.
  • Report project status, progress, and results to management.
  • Assist in the implementation and configuration of IT infrastructure components.
  • Coordinate collaboration with external vendors and ensure adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.
Desirable Experience
  • Requires extensive experience as a project lead in IT infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in leading and implementing similar projects. Excellent project management skills and familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Hands-on mentality and the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure components.
