Sam Dennigan & Company, the largest Irish owned fresh produce and logistics company based in North Co. Dublin, are currently recruiting for the position of Reach / Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Nights for our Nights Department in our busy Depot in Oldtown, Palmerstown, North Co. Dublin.

Job Purpose:
Loading and unloading warehouse material, optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency and identifying any damages to vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and manage industrial Forklift Trucks, to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks.
  2. Unload materials from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
  3. Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
  4. Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  5. Transport raw materials to production workstations.
  6. Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs.
  7. Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
  8. Comply with Company Policies and legal guidelines.
  9. Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.

Experience/Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as Forklift Operator.
  2. Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
  3. Excellent coordination.
  4. Valid certification to operate Forklifts.
  5. Fluency in English.

Working Hours:

  • 5 Nights over 7
  • Full time 40 hours per week
