Nutbutter is currently looking for an upbeat, efficient, and friendly barista to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Strong barista experience is necessary for this job.
  • Serve guests efficiently, friendly, and promptly.
  • Take payments accurately, paying attention to the form of payment and correct change when dealing with cash.
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly and courteously to tables and take-out orders.
  • Clear empty dishes and cups from the floor and terrace at all times.
  • Clean and sanitize all tables regularly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant floor, sweeping or mopping as required.
  • Check and maintain guest bathrooms, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and stocked with soap and paper.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for smooth service and hygiene.
  • Adhere to HACCP guidelines as per training.
  • Arrive on time dressed in uniform as per roster.
  • Report guest complaints and faulty equipment immediately to supervisors or managers.
  • Assist colleagues when idle.
  • Check and replenish items needed for your role before, during, and after shifts.
  • Maintain grooming and uniform standards as per handbook.
  • Follow team guidelines and rules, behaving politely to teammates and guests.
  • Undertake initial training and ongoing development as directed by management.

  • Experience in food, restaurant, and/or team roles.
  • Passionate about hospitality with positive energy.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Quick learner and adaptable.
  • Strong communication skills.
