Overview

Seeking an experienced developer to design, build, and maintain complex applications across multiple platforms and technologies within a finance setting, but mostly focusing around Java. The role involves full lifecycle development, troubleshooting, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Contract: 6 month contract expected to roll/extend

Location: 3 days per week onsite in Dublin

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain complex applications across platforms and technologies within a finance setting, with a primary focus on Java.
  • Perform full lifecycle development, troubleshooting, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Key Skills
  • Database: SQL, PL/SQL
  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber)
  • Familiarity with additional technologies such as C++, Elasticsearch, XML/XSL
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
