Quality Assurance , Test Analyst

6 month contract

Dublin city centre/Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Produce structured test plans based on functional requirements
  • Develop comprehensive test cases for System, UAT and Regression testing (both automated and manual)
  • Creating, executing and recording the results of test cases
  • Tracking of progress of test phase and reporting to Team Lead with regular updates.
  • Raise & track defects, highlight potential risks
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained at all times
  • Develop process improvement initiatives

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years QA and software testing experience
  • Experience in testing Sales Support Systems, Mobile App Systems and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Experience in interrogating SQL server databases through the use of SQL queries is essential
  • Exposure to test in a financial services environment preferably Life and Pensions
  • Experience in testing on data driven projects
  • Experience with bug and issue management tools applicable to this role including JIRA
  • Experience with test case management tools including Test Rail

Education:

  • ISTQB or similar related qualification desirable
  • IT related qualification would be advantageous
