Role Overview

The Systems / Automation Engineer will support the design, implementation and commissioning of automation and process control systems for a new manufacturing facility. The role ensures robust, compliant and reliable automation solutions to meet production, safety and quality requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop, configure and implement automation systems (e.g. DCS, PLC, SCADA, BMS/EMS).
  • Participate in design reviews, FAT/SAT activities and commissioning of systems.
  • Collaborate with process, validation and engineering teams for seamless integration.
  • Prepare and maintain automation documentation in line with project and GMP standards.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support during start-up and qualification.
  • Ensure compliance with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and other relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in automation or systems engineering in a GMP environment.
  • Knowledge of GAMP, GMP and regulatory requirements for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens, Emerson, DeltaV or equivalent systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
