HCA Required for Nursing Home in Roscommon

Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client which is a well-known Nursing Home in Roscommon is currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistant for full-time position (39 hours per week).
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and emotional well-being of our residents. You'll work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care and promote independence.
Requirements
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a care setting preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily personal care including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support residents with mobility and mealtime assistance
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behaviour
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Promote a safe and clean environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Competitive hourly rates - €14 per hour depending on experience
