We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a Front of House Manager to join the senior management team at Ireland's first Five star Forbes hotel, Ashford Castle. This is a wonderful opportunity for an aspiring candidate to join a team of passionate and skilled hoteliers.

We are looking for a candidate who is immaculately presented, engages well with our guests, and can lead the Front of House team effectively with ability. The candidate must be someone who exudes a passion for hospitality and shows genuine care for their team and our guests.

Key responsibilities of the Front of House Manager will include:

  1. Oversee the effective operations of our Front of House Division – Reception, Concierge, Night Auditors, Day Porters, and Estate.
  2. Mentoring and coaching are key skills required to achieve peak performance.
  3. Demonstrates strong leadership.
  4. Demonstrates inspirational leadership, moving the division forward, keeping abreast with changes within the luxury 5-star market.
  5. Ensure Forbes 5-star standards are upheld.
  6. Have a sharp business acumen, understanding finances.

The ideal candidate for the Front of House Manager position should:

  1. Have luxury 5-star experience in a similar role.
  2. Minimum of 4 years working within the 5-star luxury market.
  3. Ability to handle pressurized situations whilst understanding the expectations of our discerning guests.
  4. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural warm and engaging personality.
  5. Previous experience using Opera is desirable.
  6. A degree in Hospitality is desirable.
