Mater Private Network, a dynamic and results-driven healthcare organization, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Financial Controller to join our executive team. This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to contribute significantly to the strategic direction and financial success of our growing network.

Purpose of the Role:

As an integral member of the Mater Private Network executive team, the Group Financial Controller will lead and manage a finance and administrative structure across the Group to meet the evolving needs and opportunities of a dynamic and results-driven organization. The role encompasses a wide range of functions, including:

  • Oversight of the controls environment.
  • Reporting performance.
  • Developing financial models and managing budgets.
  • Preparation of current financial reports and summaries.
  • Creating forecasts predicting future growth.
  • Overseeing investment, audit, and legal affairs.
  • Leading talent and technology management.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • Undergraduate or Masters degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful experience in a senior leadership role in a Finance department in a business of sufficient scale and complexity.
  • Successful experience in driving performance improvement initiatives.
  • Industry knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Strong project management skills with a record of developing and strengthening systems and processes.
  • Leadership, strong level of energy and drive to impact and deliver.
  • A collaborator of the highest level, able to bring people together to progress tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong alignment with our organizational mission and values.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, exercising good judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
