Overview

Health Care Assistant Carlow role at Comfort Homecare in Carlow. Due to continued growth and expansion, Comfort Homecare is recruiting additional Health Care Assistants to support our Carlow team.

Driving Essential. Most competitive rates starting at €15 per hour. Higher rate on Sunday. Travel allowance of 41c per km. Additional benefits. This is a part-time and full-time role to assist clients to remain safely and happily in their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high standards of emotional, social and personal care to clients.
  • Adhere to all Comfort Care Ltd policies.
  • Accurate record-keeping
  • Continuous training and upskilling applicable to the role
  • Implement the client's care plan.
  • Provide practical and emotional support to clients in a professional manner
Qualifications
  • QQI Level 5 - Care skills and Care of the Elderly
  • Full Clean Driving License and use of your own vehicle
  • Be flexible and have a can-do attitude
  • Have a caring and kind disposition providing a person-centred approach to the client
  • Good communication and practical skills
  • Some experience and training is desirable
  • Weekend and evening work required
Job Details
  • Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
  • Part-time hours: 18-40 per week
  • Schedule: Day shift, Evening shift, Weekend availability, Flexible hours
  • Experience: HCA 1 year (required)
  • Licence/Certification: Certificate in Care Skills or Healthcare Support (desirable); Full Clean Driving License (required)
