Role Description

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. This is a full-time on-site role located in Waterford. Key duties include cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting
  • Experience with BOQ and Cost Planning
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., RICS, SCSI) is a plus
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry
