Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for projects across various sectors.
  • Oversee the full EIA lifecycle from feasibility to planning submission, including coordination of multidisciplinary inputs and reporting.
  • Provide expert advice on Irish environmental planning law, policy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, planning consultations, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Contribute to internal quality assurance processes and team mentoring.
  • Support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and client relationship management.


Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Ecology, Engineering, or a related field (postgraduate qualification desirable).
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in EIA project management, with a strong track record in Irish planning processes.
  • Expertise in preparing and reviewing EIA Reports (EIARs), Environmental Screening Reports, and associated documentation.
  • Sectoral experience in renewables (wind, solar, battery storage, AD) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent understanding of Irish and EU environmental legislation and best practice.
  • Proven leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Membership (or eligibility for membership) of a relevant professional body.
  • Full clean Irish or EU driving license.
  • Experience working with GIS, project management tools, and collaborative platforms.
  • Familiarity with stakeholder engagement strategies and public consultation.
  • Cross-disciplinary experience (e.g., planning, ecology, hydrology, etc.).
