As a QA engineer, your mission will be to ensure that your team delivers products of the highest quality, while also helping to develop our QA frameworks used across all engineering teams in the business. You will use Agile methodologies to build, test, and deliver products and features across our suite of products. You will work as part of a dedicated team of passionate engineers to support Matchbook's goal of becoming a leading global platform. You will play a vital role in maintaining high quality standards for new features and products on the recently developed exchange as part of the Matchbook Product Engineering Team.

What will I be doing?

  • Define and plan test cycles and ensure test quality
  • Design and maintain test plans, scripts, cases, and data
  • Collaborate with development leads to resolve system defects
  • Communicate with multi-national teams regarding projects and issues
  • Mentor and guide new hires
  • Produce test progress reports and status updates

What we're looking for:

  • Domain knowledge of the gambling industry, especially exchange betting, is a bonus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm for software development and QA methodologies, with a results-driven approach. Takes ownership of tasks and overcomes obstacles
  • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead and mentor others in testing practices
  • A methodical work approach with strong attention to detail
  • A history of successfully completing projects in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
