We are seeking an ambitious and visionary General Manager to lead our growing OTC/Pharmaceutical business in Ireland. This role holds full P&L responsibility and encompasses leadership across all business functions including sales, strategic planning, product management, budgeting, customer relationships, and business development.

The successful candidate will be accountable for driving performance, developing new business opportunities, and expanding our portfolio into new market segments where we are currently underrepresented. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this is a critical executive position aimed at ensuring continued growth and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Business Development
  1. Drive the strategic vision and overall direction of the business, aligning with the company's mission and values.
  2. Identify and pursue new growth opportunities across OTC, pharma, and adjacent sectors.
  3. Lead the identification and onboarding of new principals and partners to expand product offerings.
  4. Act as a key ambassador for the brand, representing the company with KOLs, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
Commercial & Financial Oversight
  1. Full accountability for sales performance, market expansion, and overall business profitability.
  2. Construct and manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial health and resource optimization.
  3. Oversee pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability aligned with market trends.
Operational & Departmental Management
  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations across all departments including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Service.
  2. Lead, inspire, and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve and exceed business goals.
  3. Assign, recruit, and allocate resources in line with operational and strategic priorities.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  1. Build and maintain strong client relationships, from product ideation to contract execution and post-launch management.
  2. Ensure high standards of customer experience and satisfaction through proactive engagement and service delivery.
  3. Utilize strategic insight to understand end-market trends and develop tailored solutions for clients.
Governance & Compliance
  1. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, quality, health & safety, and operational standards.
  2. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and total quality across the business.
  3. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and business integrity.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  1. 5–10 years' senior management experience, preferably within the OTC, Pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.
  2. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing full P&L responsibilities.
  3. Strong understanding of the retail brands industry and market dynamics in Ireland.
  4. Proven track record in strategic business development and relationship management.
  5. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think innovatively and commercially.
  6. A relevant academic background in Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is essential.
