Ruby Mcs is a cafe providing breakfast, brunch, and an array of sweet treats all day, seven days a week.

We're searching for a passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager.

This is a high-energy environment targeting families and children.

Key elements of your role as Assistant Restaurant Manager:
  1. Show confidence in managing floor operations in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, take-away counter, and hatch.
  2. Ensure the efficient flow of service during busy periods while maintaining our service standards.
  3. Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
  4. Manage all employees according to skills and standards, providing regular feedback and appraisals.
  5. Adhere to and uphold all food safety and quality regulations.
  6. Staff Management: training, rostering, performance management, recruitment.
  7. Customer Service: staff briefings, standards monitoring, building repeat/referral business, responding to reviews and complaints.
  8. Environment: cleaning, presentation, HACCP, Health & Safety.
  9. Financial: cash management, cost control, pricing, invoices, waste management.
  10. Sales: increase sales, upselling, maximizing profit, menu reviews, new ideas.
  11. Stock Management: stock takes, rotation, ordering, pricing reviews, inventory management.
About you:
  • You have 1+ years of experience in this position.
  • You love to wow guests with exceptional service.
  • You have excellent English language skills.
  • You are a team player.
  • You are friendly and professional with children and adults.
