Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Shop Manager with daily shop operations.
  • Lead shop activities in the absence of the Shop and Assistant Manager, including opening/closing, managing staff, and cash procedures.
  • Occasionally manage the shop, providing development opportunities.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while undertaking training to upskill.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including accepting bets accurately through multiple channels.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador, introducing customers to digital and multi-channel services.
  • Maintain shop presentation standards and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
  • Work well in a team and adhere to social responsibility duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential:

  • Customer-focused with integrity.
  • Flexible to operate 7 days a week.
  • Detail-oriented with strong numeracy skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable with good cash handling experience.

Desirable:

  • Experience in retail or the betting industry (training provided).
