Purpose & Objective
As the Total Reward Expert specializing in Compensation Bonus Design, you will be a thought leader in designing, analyzing, and maintaining competitive bonus design compensation strategies aligned with SAP's Compensation Philosophy. You will evaluate SAP's pay mix, bonus design, and monitor effectiveness. You will collaborate with business leadership, finance, and HR teams to craft and refine compensation strategies aligned with our business goals and strategy, providing data-driven recommendations for plan improvements, comprehensive analysis, and external market insights.

In addition, you will serve as the Global Total Rewards Partner, acting as the face of Total Rewards and trusted advisor for a large & dynamic function. You will drive, influence and support scoping, design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of innovative and tailored Total Rewards business solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Design and monitor Compensation Bonus Design, ensuring alignment with market trends and organizational goals.
  • Develop and model scenario analyses to evaluate potential plan impacts, outcomes, and cost projections.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to define compensation strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand compensation needs, providing expert advice and solutions.
  • Identify and implement industry best practices to support Global Total Reward strategies; develop innovative solutions in collaboration with executive representatives and the HRBP community when needed.
  • Provide expert guidance on Total Rewards programs, ensuring compliance across local geographies.
  • Influence and lead through challenging situations with senior stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for the business.
  • Work with TR communities globally and with Finance and other HR teams to lead the TR strategy for a dedicated function.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or related field, with extensive expertise in Compensation design at large technology firms.
  • Robust experience in incentive compensation design.
  • Strong leadership skills with a customer-centric outlook.
  • Broad understanding of all Total Rewards components (base and variable pay, long-term incentives, recognition programs) with knowledge of market pay practices in the technology industry.
  • Expert-level analytical skills and mastery in compensation data analysis and modeling; advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Preferably in-depth knowledge of SAP HCM solutions and ability to manage multiple tasks with cross-functional collaboration.
