What we do: Cork's goal is to eliminate cyber risk for small businesses.

  • Our technology platform proactively helps SMBs prevent cyber attacks by monitoring their cybersecurity controls
  • If an attack happens, our platform's cyber warranty kicks in, providing up to $500k in coverage to an SMB
  • We partner with IT/security providers to get our platform and the cyber warranty into the SMB's hands

The Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Channel Account Executive to join our growing team. This is a hyper-partner-focused role where you will be instrumental in building and nurturing relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Your primary goal will be to drive adoption of the Cork risk compliance and warranty platform, helping our partners enhance their service offerings, improve client security, and unlock new revenue opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Partner Recruitment & Onboarding: Identify, recruit, and onboard new MSP partners to the Cork Protection program.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders at our partner organizations.
  • Enablement & Training: Educate partners on the Cork Protection platform, its value proposition, and how to effectively sell and implement our cyber warranty.
  • Sales & Business Development: Work closely with partners to develop and execute joint business plans, drive sales, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and partner needs to inform our product and go-to-market strategies.
  • Advocacy: Serve as a champion for our partners, ensuring their feedback and needs are communicated internally to product and engineering teams.

  • Experienced: You have 3+ years of experience in channel sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the cybersecurity or MSP space.
  • Partner-Centric: You have a deep understanding of the MSP business model and are passionate about helping partners succeed. We LOVE our partners and we show up for them every day
  • Technically Adept: You are comfortable discussing cybersecurity concepts, integrations with RMM, EDR, and BCDR tools, and how technology solves business problems.
  • A Hunter and a Farmer: You are skilled at both identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships to drive growth.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You can articulate a complex value proposition clearly and compellingly to both technical and business audiences. Have experience with SPIN, MEDDPIC, MEDDIC, Command of the Message selling.
  • Results-Oriented: You have to deliver results (it's even one of our leadership values). You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM and support tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, etc.).
