Reporting to:
Warehouse Manager / Supervisor

Main purpose of Job:
To put trailers on the bays in accordance with Health & Safety regulations in a safe and efficient manner, following company quality procedures and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and dispatch trailers from yard / trailer park efficiently.
• Perform visual inspections of mechanical handling equipment and report faults.
• Assess vehicle condition to ensure safety and suitability for loading.
• Complete all relevant administration procedures accurately.
• Work within Health and Safety regulations and IMDG/ADR requirements, notifying/taking action where necessary.
• Maintain security and quality policies, and ensure a safe, tidy working environment.

Skills & Experience:

• 1-2 years' experience in a Cross-Dock warehousing environment with Shunter/HGV experience.
• Effective communication skills in English, verbal and written.
