Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant F&B Manager to support the management of our restaurant & banqueting operations. This role requires a strong leader who can ensure exceptional guest service, maintain high operational standards, and inspire a team to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  1. Support the F&B Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and exceptional service.
  2. Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer experience.
  3. Assist in staff scheduling, stock control, and inventory management to optimise efficiency.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence:

  1. Lead by example to deliver a warm and professional dining experience for all guests.
  2. Handle guest feedback and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  3. Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service coordination.
  4. Assist in the training and development of the restaurant team, ensuring staff are knowledgeable, motivated, and engaged.
  5. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and high morale.
  6. Support performance management and ensure staff uphold the restaurant's standards of service and professionalism.

Financial & Compliance Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in managing the restaurant's budget, cost control, and revenue targets to maximize profitability.
  2. Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
  3. Monitor compliance with company policies, licensing laws, and brand standards.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within an Irish hospitality setting.
  2. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  3. A genuine passion for hospitality, guest service, and high-end dining experiences.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Knowledge of food and beverage trends, cost control, and restaurant operations.
  6. Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
