Our client, a well-regarded accounting firm near Dún Laoghaire, is seeking a Practice Accountant/Audit Senior to join their team.
Reporting to the Audit Partners, you will lead and conduct audits across various businesses, including large-ticket assignments (company T/O circa €500,000). The firm has recently secured new clients in the financial services sector, offering opportunities to work with organizations typically inaccessible to SME firms.
The firm utilizes a paperless audit system, allowing most work to be performed from the office, reducing the need for off-site work. They offer an excellent work/life balance, flextime, a generous remuneration package, and a friendly, collaborative environment.
This role may suit a recently qualified auditor or an Audit Senior aiming for a management position.
Key Responsibilities:- Auditing a variety of clients, from SMEs to large groups
- Managing and leading audits from planning to completion
- General practice work, including accounts preparation, tax, and company work
- Ad hoc tasks as needed
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
- Familiar with relevant accounting and auditing standards
- Team player with strong communication and client management skills
- Knowledge of Caseware software is a plus
- Proven ability to train and mentor junior staff
