Senior Product Manager

Senior Product Manager – Technical, Open Banking — Mastercard Open Banking. Location: Gdańsk, Poland or Dublin, Ireland. You will bridge Product Managers, Architects, Engineering Leads and business stakeholders, ensuring technical requirements align with Mastercard's standards. You will work with Connect, the frontend component of our Open Banking Payment and Data applications, and help drive creative solutions to enable a world beyond cash. You will translate complex business requirements into actionable development tasks, facilitate scrum ceremonies, cultivate a positive team culture, and manage multiple product stakeholders without formal authority to prioritize effectively and deliver impact.

• Technical & Business Alignment: collaborate with Product Managers and engineering teams to develop and clarify technical requirements, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's technology standards.
• Lead Frontend Initiatives: oversee Connect, the customer-facing frontend of Open Banking Payment and Data applications, guiding feature design and development.
• Creative Problem Solving: employ innovative strategies to address challenges and seize product opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: act as a liaison between development teams and business stakeholders, clearly articulating technical considerations and product needs.
• Influence & Prioritization: manage multiple stakeholder demands and determine what to build and when.
• Culture & Team Building: foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative engineering environment.
• Agile Facilitation: lead planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other scrum ceremonies within a SAFe-like framework.
• Technical Assessment: collaborate with engineers on software designs, identify cross-application enhancements, and anticipate impacts of new features.
• Continuous Improvement: drive ongoing improvements in product processes, tools, and culture aligned with Mastercard's best practices.

• Experience: 5+ years in a similar role (e.g., product, program, or service management with a technical emphasis).
• Demonstrated track record of coordinating customer activities alongside product development roadmaps.
• Familiarity with facilitating technical and non-technical workshops, trainings or problem-solving sessions.
• Collaboration & Ownership: high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, able to work independently and juggle competing demands.
• Strong initiative, self-motivation, and willingness to learn new skills and adapt to challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with strong relationship-building and organizational abilities.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively, produce status reports, and handle stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Aptitude: ability to translate complex technical details into clear requirements for engineering teams.
• Bonus: technical or engineering background.
• Leadership & Influence: adept at managing multiple stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.
• Bonus: experience with startups and large corporations, SAFe, Open Banking, finance, or data management.
