TRP Parts Ireland is the all-makes vehicle parts brand of DAF Trucks Ireland, providing parts, accessories, and consumables for all commercial vehicles.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful team representing a number of brands in the commercial vehicle industry.

The Role:
  1. Assist with the management of the day-to-day operations of a busy parts store in Kilkenny.
  2. Provide efficient service to our customer base by accurately identifying vehicle parts using parts catalogues.
  3. Communicate with customers via phone, email, and online channels.
  4. Identify and source commercial vehicle parts from our approved suppliers.
  5. Support national sales activities through collaboration with the parts management team.
  6. Assist with implementing programmes to optimise commercial vehicle parts sales for DAF, TRP, and VDL through existing sales channels and by identifying new channels to support our growth strategy.
  7. Maintain a safe working environment for staff and visitors.
  8. Liaise with internal colleagues to deliver top-tier service for our retail customers.
  9. Support team efforts to achieve high Customer Satisfaction scores.
Candidate Requirements

Ideally, candidates will have:

  • At least 4 years of experience working in a related parts sales environment.
  • Knowledge of the commercial vehicle parts business.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to act on their own initiative.
  • Focus on teamwork and effective communication with internal teams.
  • Full clean driving Cat. B licence.
  • High levels of computer literacy.
