SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – OFFALY (PAEDIATRICS, PART-TIME LOCUM)

€40-€50 per hour | Part-Time Hours (Flexible) | Initial 6-Month Contract

Emerald Locums are recruiting on behalf of our trusted HSE client for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a Paediatrics team in Offaly. This is a rewarding part-time locum opportunity to work with children presenting with a range of developmental, sensory, and functional needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a paediatric caseload, delivering assessments and intervention plans in line with best practice
  • Provide therapy for children with developmental delays, sensory processing needs, and fine/gross motor challenges
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and schools to support child-centred care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service delivery planning

Requirements
  • CORU registration (essential)
  • Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience, with significant paediatric experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of early intervention, ASD, and developmental therapy models
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and team-working skills
