Validation Engineer – Medical Devices / Injection Moulding

Location: Longford, Ireland

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days on site

We are a world-leading injection moulding manufacturer supplying high-quality components to the medical device industry. Our Longford facility is a high-tech, fast-paced environment where innovation and quality come first.

We are now seeking a Validation Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role, working on site 5 days per week, supporting manufacturing operations and ensuring that our processes meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and document validation activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ for equipment, processes, and systems.
  • Carry out hands-on documentation within validation, ensuring all protocols, reports, and records are accurate and compliant.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Analyse data and prepare validation reports to support product release and process improvements.
  • Maintain validation documentation in line with internal policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the medical device sector or in injection moulding manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of validation principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
