Your role as Heavy Plant Fitters will involve Electrical & Mechanical maintenance and repair of our Plant Machinery, such as Compactors, Diggers, Front Loaders etc

This is a permanent, Full-time position.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance installation, diagnostics and repair of service plant and machinery, engines and hydraulics – electrical and mechanical
  • Fitting and assembly of parts and/or metal subassembly to fine tolerances
  • Examination of drawings and specifications to determine appropriate methods and sequence of operations
  • To ensure preventative maintenance, repair work, overhauls and installations as appropriate are carried out
  • Fault find mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults and repair equipment in breakdown situations
  • Clear understanding of Diagnostic equipment and procedures
  • To anticipate, report or repair any equipment requiring remedial work that may affect the continuity of Plant operations.
  • To complete accurate records for all work completed using Service and Inspection schedules.
  • To identify and maintain quantity and functionality of tools and equipment

  • Great attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a similar role
