Responsibilities
  • Take an active part in the initial setup of new funds take-on, liaising with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries as part of the setup process.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the funds and follow up with third parties, including investors and fund managers.
  • Handle fund accounts and prepare periodic reports and regulatory reports for the fund entities.
  • Prepare the funds' periodic Net Asset Value calculation and year-end financial statements, manage the audit, and review other fund-related reports.
  • Review tax returns and tax balances and maintain contacts with tax authorities.
  • Record all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Proactively take on additional responsibilities and administrative tasks as required by managers or clients.
Your profile
  • Degree-level education in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Some relevant experience in fund administration, audit, or fiduciary services is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the fund industry, valuation, and accounting.
  • Basic knowledge in accounting for investment products; experience with closed-ended funds in real estate private equity or debt space is an asset.
  • Understanding of securities commonly encountered in the fund industry (equities, bonds, CFDs, options, futures) and ability to account for them.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Team spirit, ability to build strong client relationships, and initiative to act without waiting for direction when appropriate.
